Rock- On Volunteer Climbing Instructor Training
Rock On! is an adaptive indoor climbing program open to individuals with disabilities that takes place at The Front Climbing Club on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Typically, Tuesday sessions are held at SOMA (South Main), and Thursday sessions are held at the Downtown SLC location (400 W). Volunteers work one-on-one with participants to build strength, confidence, and problem-solving skills through climbing.
Volunteer Requirements:
- Minimum age: 16
- 2 years climbing and belaying experience preferred
- Completion of Indoor Climbing Training at the NAC Ranch and an annual Belay Check-off
- Volunteers receive a gym day pass; no gym membership required
